Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications
One of the main objectives of BTC is the formation and balancing of market growth in information technology in Poland. These objectives contributed to the entrance of our company into the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications. On 5 March 2008, by virtue of a vote by members of the chamber according to regulations concerning the acceptance of new members to PIIT and Resolution No. 100/2008, BTC was accepted into the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications. The acceptance ceremony along with the awarding of the Certificate of Membership took place on 12 March 2008 at the XVII Assembly of Chamber Members.
The Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (PIIT) began activities in January 1993. The chamber operates on the basis of the law concerning economic Chambers of Commerce (30 May 1989) and "is entitled to the expression of opinions and evaluations of initiation and performance of legal provisions concerning commercial activity" and "The proper organs of public administration grant to Chambers of Commerce information required for the exercise of their statutory tasks". On this basis the chamber has the right to lobby in essential economic matters for the information technology and telecommunications sector. Chamber members are economic entities conducting economic activity in the data communications / telecommunications and information technology sector.
